In a MacBook Pro Model A1398 with micro Intel I made several installations of different OS (Windows 10, Ubuntu 20.04, etc.) and at a time that I deleted the different partitions of the disk through the "Disk Utilility" of the recovery of these OSs the Mac computer did not boot: it did not turn on. He was like dead. I didn't have any OS installed at the time, but it should turn on. I think I was doing too many kennels on the Mac and it got tired of me.
The solution I applied was to reset the SMC (System Management Controller) as follows:
- Unplug the current to release the energy from the electronic components of the board. Minimum wait about 30 seconds before plugging in the electric current again.
- Press for 7 seconds Shif + Ctrl + Option.
- And then pressing the previous three keys press the power button, and hold the four keys pressed for about 7 seconds. Stop pressing the four keys after that time.
- Wait a few seconds
- Turn your Mac back on
Once the Mac is booted, restart it in recovery mode (Cmd + R) and install a macOS High Sierra without problems.
